Dabid lives in the Capital District of NY, which is pretty much devoid of interesting characteristics. He holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Education, but hates technology and children. Dabid has severe obsessive-compulsive disorder and blocks power lights on all electronics with opaque tape. He’s happily-married (sorry, ladies) and drives a metallic lime squeeze 2011 Ford Fiesta SES. It’s quite awesome.

This is the third foray into blogging for Dabid. Dabid had a dutifully-maintained Livejournal for many years before abandoning it to be lost in time on the Internet. Toy Review Daily is a spinoff of Dabid’s Blog.

  1. Hi. We run a website and produce a podcast about Disney Vinylmation and we noticed your post about the 9″ Animation Vinylmation. We wrote up a Blog article citing you and linking to your blog. You can check out the post here: http://destinationd.info/DestV/2011/01/what-does-a-dog-a-hippo-a-whale-and-a-wizard-have-in-common/
We can’t wait to get some of these ourselves. Sounds like a fluke thing that they were in the store. I hope we get them soon. Let us know if they still have any. Thank you

  2. Dear David, congrats for the site and the reviews!
I was wondering, did you do the review of Superman #1? I read the review of the second issue and there you mention the negativity of issue #1. Also, are you going to review Green Arrow #3? I really agreed with what you said about it, especially with wolf-woman (yes, I saw her in GA#3 and she didn’t talk).
    Keep it up,
    Lazlo

  3. Hey Dabid,

    First of all great blog!

I was wondering if you could get in touch with me regarding reviewing a new toy. My email is above. Couldn’t find your contact on this domain. Thanks Sebastian

  4. Hi… I have a question.. Is there a way to correct loose joints in a toy? I have a Diamond select Metaluna Mutant that simply will not stand up without falling over (unless I prop it against something).. The ankles seem to be the weakest point… Any suggestions?? Thanks

  5. Hi David,

I love the blog, I also used to own a bright green fiesta!

I was wondering if you’d be open to reviewing one of my client’s toy products?

If you could get back to me I’d really appreciate it.

  6. Hi!

    How are you?

We have come up with a fun, innovative and one-of-kind product that allows you to decorate and personalize your headphone string in countless ways. Please take a look at MyBeadsUSA.com – I am curious to your thoughts?

Do you think this could be a product that would be of interest to you…enough to warrant a review?

I can send you a free sample if you like?

    All the best,

    Thomas

Ps. Here is a link to a blog that gives good overall info.

  7. Hello,
My company, Action Lab Entertainment is reaching out to various media outlets because we’ve recently launched Soft Spots, an internationally recognized toy brand in the United States. I would love to add Toy Review Daily to our media contact list.
