September 2014 LootCrate Spoilers! Contents Items Received!

I never thought that I could fall prey to the lure of a monthly subscription “mystery box” of geek items, but Loot Crate has won me over with their fantastic mixes of beloved properties and hot companies like Funko. The August 2014 LootCrate may have been their best assortment ever, so I was really looking forward to receiving this month’s box. Well, it’s not nearly as good as what we got last month–but it’s definitely got some cool stuff in it, including a Funko Firefly Captain Mal Mystery Minis figure, a Funko Retro Alien figure, a plush Star Trek Tribble and more! Should you order this month’s LootCrate? Read on!

September 2014 LootCrate Spoilers Items Loot CrateThe main items included in the Loot Crate September 2014 spoilers item list are as follows:

  • Funko Alien Figure (Funko ReAction Action Figures Line)
  • Exclusive Funko Mystery Minis Captain Mal Vinyl Figure (from Firely)
  • QMX Star Trek Tribble Plush Toy (Random Colored–Orange and Yellow found so far)
  • Halo Escalation #1 Halo Comic Book Digital Redemption Voucher (Dark Horse Comics)
  • Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Poster
  • Star Wars Magnet
  • Pop Rocks Candy

For me, the LootCrate September 2014 contents are decent. I know that I’ll love the Captain Mal Funko Mystery Minis figure (valued at $6-$7), and the QMX Tribble Plush makes me smile and has a value of about $10 on its own. I’ll eat the Pop Rocks (value: $1), and I’ll get enough enjoyment out of the Han Solo in Carbonite Star Wars poster to make up for the last dollar or two that I spent on the crate.

Loot Crate September 2014 Contents Spoilers LootCrateThe main item of value in the September 2014 LootCrate is the Funko ReAction Aliens The Alien figure, which carries a retail price in stores of about $10 plus tax. If you like the movie Aliens (I absolutely despise it), then that makes this a pretty good Loot Crate for you right off the bat.

I was happy enough with my first couple Loot Crates to order a six-month subscription, so I’ll be posting future LootCrate spoiler photos and links on the Toy Review Daily Facebook page as soon as they’re received. ‘Like’ Toy Review Daily on Facebook if you want to have spoilers and alerts sent right to your Facebook Newsfeed from now on!

If you like what you see, the 2014 September Loot Crate can still be ordered until midnight on 9/20/2014. What do you think of the September 2014 Loot Crate items, LootCrate fans? Is this month’s #LootCrate worth your 19 bucks, or would you have been happier having that money still in your cyber-wallet?

    • This is my first month as well. After seeing past months crates I am disappointed at the contents of the crate I received today.

  1. Omg I didn’t even see the Han Solo poster. I might’ve accidentally put it in the recycling bin if I hadn’t looked on here! Many thanks! I actually thoroughly enjoyed this box, though I would have liked something a little more functional and/or wearable. Thanks for the review!

  2. I got mine today too, what’s the money? where’s it from? or is it fake money from one of the shows?
