I’ve been so caught up in manly-man things like playing with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and building Halo and Warcraft Mega Bloks sets that I’ve been neglecting one of my less masculine toy loves: Disney’s Vinylmation line.

So tonight, I’m taking a look at one of the most loved (or hated–it’s a thin line) Disney Parks characters ever–Figment the “Journey into Imagination” dragon–captured in the Vinylmation form. This figure is from “Park Starz” Series 1, a Vinylmation spinoff collection that includes only non-film Disney Parks characters.

This Figment is specifically a “limited edition” version painted up with his famous yellow sweater. And by “limited edition”, Disney means they only made five thousand. Yes, five thousand. Unfortunately, I’m not sure that there are even 5,000 Vinylmation collectors out there total, much less ones willing to buy an obscure variant from an offshoot line…
